From Estimate to Signed Proposal Without Leaving the App
Estim8 Pro 1.2: a one-page proposal, overhead and profit you edit in place, and an e-signature the owner does from their phone.
An estimate isn't money until somebody signs it. Until this week, that meant exporting the PDF, pasting the number into a proposal template, emailing it, and waiting. Version 1.2 closes that loop.
One number the owner signs
Every Estim8 estimate is a range, because that's honest. A proposal needs one number. Pick Low, Mid, High, or type your own, and page one becomes the proposal: your logo, the amount, the basis (materials, labor, overhead and profit, contingency) at that point in the range, the scope, and the terms. The full estimate sits behind it.
Overhead and profit, your way
Tap the O&P line on the pricing screen and change it. Twenty to thirty percent, and the whole estimate reprices in place. Same for contingency. No settings menu, no re-export.
Signed from the owner's phone
Tap Send for e-signature. The owner gets an email with a link, reads the proposal, draws their signature, and taps Sign. You see Viewed, then Signed, in the app. Both of you get the executed PDF and a signing certificate — timestamp, IP, and document hash — by email. No DocuSign account. No per-envelope fee.
Who it's for
The big shops have estimating departments and contract software. This is the same workflow at $49 a month, on the phone you already carry.
Estim8 Pro 1.2 is on the App Store now. Android follows from the same code.
